Livelihood Security Program (LSP)

The Livelihood Security Program (LSP) aims to enhance economic stability and reduce poverty by providing sustainable livelihood opportunities to vulnerable populations, including smallholder farmers, artisans, women, and unemployed youth.  

Key Components:

1. Skill Development & Training– Vocational training in agriculture, handicrafts, and small-scale enterprises to improve employability.  

2. Financial Inclusion– Access to microloans, grants, and self-help group (SHG) linkages for income-generating activities.  

3. Agricultural Support – Distribution of high-yield seeds, livestock, and training in climate-resilient farming techniques.  

4. Market Linkages– Facilitation of local and digital market access for products and services.  

5. Social Protection– Insurance and welfare schemes for beneficiaries to mitigate economic shocks.  

Target Beneficiaries: 

– Marginal farmers and rural laborers  

– Women-led households  

– Unemployed youth and artisans  

– Low-income urban informal workers  

Expected Outcomes:

– Increased household income and food security  

– Reduced dependency on informal credit  

– Enhanced resilience to economic and environmental risks  

– Empowerment of women and marginalized groups
